Sebastián Castro Galnares is a co-founder and President of Kushki, a Latin American payments infrastructure company that has scaled into the region’s unicorn club by enabling omnichannel digital payment solutions and reducing complexity for merchants and platforms across multiple markets. He also serves as a General Partner at Alpha4 Ventures, where he invests in early-stage technology companies across sectors including FinTech and EnergyTech. Prior to Kushki, Sebastián co-founded and served as Chief Product Officer of Leaf, a financial services technology company acquired by Heartland Payment Systems. He has held board and advisory roles with startups in the United States and Latin America and is active as an angel investor. Sebastián holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he studied mathematics, mechanical engineering, and energy science.
