The Rivera Brothers: Inside the Engine of Emerging Markets

    Osmin is global co-head of Emerging Markets (EM) Trading in FICC and co-head of Latin America. Previously, he was head of Americas Currencies and EM Trading. Osmin serves as chair of the Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC Fixed Income Best Execution Committee and on the Board of Directors for Goldman Sachs México Casa de Bolsa. In addition, he is a member of the Advisory Board for the Firmwide Hispanic/Latinx
Network.

 

    Osmin joined Goldman Sachs in 2010 as a vice president and was named managing director in 2013 and partner in 2020. Prior to joining the firm, Osmin worked at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he traded Latin American foreign exchange and interest rate swaps. Earlier in his career, Osmin worked at JPMorgan, where he traded residential asset-backed securities. Osmin serves as a board member for EMpower – The Emerging Markets Foundation, which works in underserved communities within Emerging Markets. He also serves as vice chair on the board of the Trade Association for Emerging Markets (EMTA).

 

    Osmin earned a BBA in Finance and Marketing from Loyola University, New Orleans, in 2005.
